Infinite Disco live album

[edit]

@PHShanghai:, this statement "Additionally, the Infinite Disco live album was eventually surprise-released by Minogue shortly after Disco: Guest List Edition." - is actually incorrect. On 12 November 2021, the "Guest List Edition" of Minogue's fifteenth studio album Disco was released. Included in the deluxe five-disc package was a recording of the Infinite Disco concert on CD, DVD, and Blu-ray.[1] The April 2022 release for the live album, was actually just a standalone release and the live album, was already included as the third disc of the 2021 re-release of Disco. Hotwiki (talk) 12:53, 21 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Also, you've added that live album without a reference as well, which is another issue. Hotwiki (talk) 12:55, 21 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Then remove the "surprise released" and change it to "released alongside [Disco Guest List], with an April 2022 release on streaming services" Anyway, that wasn't even the main point of what I was doing.
You're pivoting from the point, which is that the Tension era objectively started in 2023 and not 2022, which is confusing then why you're reverting it back to 2022. Artists work on albums of all the time, that doesn't mean the era started from the moment the album was being produced in the studio. PHShanghai | they/them (talk) 13:09, 21 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
A stand alone release for Infinite Disco live album is not notable enough for a life and career section, especially it was already included in the re-release. Not every live album is mentioned in this article to begin with. Hotwiki (talk) 13:12, 21 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
As for the Tension era, worked began for the album in 2022. There's no need to include the other happenings of Minogue's life in 2022 - in the Golden/Step Back in Time/Disco section which already covers 5 years of her life. Hotwiki (talk) 13:14, 21 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
There is one sentence covering the entire year of 2022 in the Tension section, whereas there are multiple paragraphs covering 2023. Why do you insist on keeping 2022? Some of the songs on Body Language were being worked on as demos in 2002, does that mean we should consider 2002 the start of the Body Language era?
I am making a simple copyedit to make her sections more cohesive and, just like all my other edits, you revert them with no policy-based reason and only "no need" as a reason. You consistently prevent almost every edit of mine on this article multiple times over multiple months. PHShanghai | they/them (talk) 15:29, 21 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
The year 2022 has been covered in the Tension section, since last year. No one has an issue about it, except you. The Golden/Step Back in Time/Disco already covers 5 five years (2017–2021) of Minogue's life and career. Her sixteenth album being worked in year 2022, is a valid reason for the Tension/Tension II section to include Minogue's 2022 activities. As for me, reverting your edits, I have pointed out, several times in the talkpage why they were reverted. In fact just this week, I corrected you about the live album which was originally released in 2021, and not 2022. I have also posted a third-party reference about Minogue being a style icon which you removed several times. I have corrected you, about your false claim about Tension tour being the first tour of Minogue in North America, since 2011. You have introduced plenty of wrong information in the article and they needed to be removed. Its all written in the talk page. Hotwiki (talk) 16:10, 21 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@PHShanghai:, so you've once again, moved the year 2022 out of Tension era section[1] How is this helpful? Can we please discuss this things when you know this was an issue in the past, or are we going to do this back and forth again. This was already brought up in ANI for you to be starting this again. Typo in "Personal Life" section

[edit]

It says "Minogue was in a relationship with executive Jonathan Sasse up until 2017,". This should read "actor Joshua Sasse" instead, according to the cited reference (and Joshua Sasse's wikipedia page and the references therein). Relative eric (talk) 17:15, 28 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Done. Hotwiki (talk) 17:51, 28 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks, but still says "Jonathan" rather than "Joshua". The person in question also has a Wikipedia page https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Joshua_Sasse so I guess a link to it would also make sense. 47.55.142.63 (talk) 22:56, 28 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
